EVALUATION: ORIGINAL INTENTIONS 2

Did you make any changes to your original idea?,What changes did you make?,why did you make these changes?:
I did make some changes to my idea, such as the sound affects at first i had planed to have blinking noises that represent diamonds. I wanted to use this noise because I wanted it to be clear that it was a chick flick film, because if boys heard the blinking noises they would get an idea that the film is for girls.
I did not use the bling noises in my radio advert because I had the right music which made it clear i did not really need the blinking noises and also because my voice over also made it clear what type of film it is.
Another point that i changed was 'now everyone wants to be her friend' i did not include this is because  the voice over made it clear that she was wanted and people started to like her. The voice over said 'the unpopular becomes popular' so this gives an idea that she becomes popular after and that means people always want to talk and be with her.
Because my music and the voice over and characters made it clear i did not have to make many changes.

EVALUATION: ADVERT FEEDBACK 1

What are the strengths of your radio advert?:
What i think are the strenghts of my radio advert is the use of music, the narrative, the stock character and the protagonist.
The reason I think the music was really successful was because the music was really cheerful and I found the music really exciting. When giving my questionnaires to three peers one had said the music was exciting also the other peers said the sound effects where really good. I also think the narrative was extremely good because it made it really clear to the audience what was happening for example 'The unpopular becomes popular' this just gives the audience that one of the characters was not popular and becomes popular and it also clearly shows that she was not wanted "I just wanna have fun", "but your not wanted...GO" this just shows that the character 'April' is not wanted.
Another point i though was good about my radio advert was the use of the stock character because the stock character made it clear that she was the bad person in the advert. because my film had a really kind and pieceful girl and then a really mean girl that wants all the attention i had to make it clear that one of the characters was not really nice so i though it made it really clear in my advert that there is a bad/ cruel person also the protagonist makes it clear in the advert that she is the nice girl in the advert/film that just wants to have fun but the other girl dislikes her.

What are the weaknesses of your radio advert?:
What was my weakness was when trying to find music for my radio advert this is because i had to make sure the music was suitable for young children. so i had to listen carefully to all the music i had selected it did take a while because i had to make sure it was perfect and i had to make sure no bad language was in the music and also what i had to do was make sure the music was really cheerful because i wanted my audience to know it was about cheerleading. It was very had to get the right music because quite a few of the music had bad language or the music did not sound really cheerful at all so it was quite difficult and this is what i though was a weakness, however because I spent so much time on my script i did not really have to change anything so when putting it all together it went quite well it was just mostly looking for the music.
Another point that was a weakness when making my radio advert was when having to crop parts of the music. this was because i have not really used reaper before it was quite hard when it came to cropping and also when having to copy and paste.
Another weakness was when i had to find the eight counts to include in my advert. in cheerleading there are eight counts before starting the cheer moves '1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8' it was difficult trying to find someone saying it because quite a lot of people said it to slow or to quite so when i found the right one i was very excited because they did not say it to loud and not to quite.

How could you radio advert be improved?:

What i think could be improved to my film advert is the use of music this is because i think maybe i could add a bit more music to get the audience a bit more excited because if they got really excited they would really be excited to watch it.
Another point i could improve is maybe to make it longer. so if adding more music or adding more speaking maybe could make it longer but other then that i though my radio advert was really good

MEDIA 21/05/2014

What I did today was I had but the voices from my recording on to reaper.
Because I had all the music /mixes completed on reaper all I had to do was go into the reaper that I have already saved which had the music in it, then what I had to do was just drag the voices such as the person who did my voice over and also the people that did the voices for as the characters.
After dragging the recording of the voices I had to listen to it and put the voices in to the right places so it fit in with the music and before it. Then after all I had to do was listen to it and make sure I had put everything in its right places and if I needed to cut something’s out which I had to do with the music at the end what I had to do was make the first part of the music get quite so then this way the voice over would be heard more.

What did not go well was I had lost the work and had to redo putting everything in its right places.
