Radio advert analysis for a film
The Conjuring
part A
1)What is the genre is the film trailer: The genre of the film trailer is horror This is because of the use of the use of scary noises. There is a noise that sounds a bit like a clock when it turns 12o'clock.
2)What start actors have been used: The radio advert does not show/ tell us about the star actors this is because they properly wanted to keep it really short. Also people would want to reseach the film them self to find out more about the film.
3/4)Who is the target audience: The target audience is people age 15/8+ this is because use of word 'horror event of the year, i see the dark and it haunts your house, master class in terror, frighting and entertaining' all these words are not used for films under the age of 15/18.
all these work have dark/bad sides this shows it is not a plesent film for people under the age of 18.
5)How does the advertiser try to persuade the audience to watch the film:The radio advertiser persuades the audience to watch the film because of the use of tone used on his voice, because his voice is really deep it sounds a lot more scary, and most of the what he says for example 'horror avent of the year' he drags on the last letter of 'year' that makes it more affective. also he talks a bit slow and also make pauses through out one is: ' the conjuring..... in cinema now' this gives more tention and the pauses get the audience thinking.
Part B
1)What information is given about the genre, narritive and characters: The information given about the film is quite basic. this could be because it does not want say to much because people can get bored really easy also it would need to be basic because you would not want to give to much information because people would properly research about the film them self.
2)the affect of he music quite scary this is because it sounds like a whisper but the whisper drags on so it sounds more affective and also the clock noise makes it really affective because you wonder what could happen in the film and also makes you want to watch the trailer to find out more.
3)The voice over
makes it even more affective because of the deep voice makes it more affective because it makes it more scary however the voice over makes pauses and this gets the audience thinking and wondering what could happen in the film even more. The use of the pauses make it a lot more affective because gets the audience thinking.
4)I think the advert is really affective because of the use of music In the back ground and also the voice over makes pauses it even gets me wondering because I have not watch the film, the use of the clock ticking gives the impression that something really scary or bad is going to happen.
