Secondary research is found from books or websites.
Secondary research is work you have not done your self but you can use it to help you with your ideas.
The secondary research I had done was finding out what film posters look like and also what a film poster needs for it to be a film poster. I had found quite a few images of posters on the internet (Google). This is because I could not find images on buses, bus stops or cabs that related to what my film poster could end up like or have similar things that are the same.
It is good to look at similar posters before making my own this is because I would need an idea of what use of colour I could use that attracts the audience attention also how they lay there posters out and what is on there poster that makes it a poster and if I could include it in my film poster.
The film posters I had found where really good this is because of the detail on the film poster such as the use of tag lines, credits, and also the format of the film poster such as where they had put there images if it was in the middle, sides or even if it was at the top or bottom of the film poster.
What I have learnt about film posters and secondary research is that film posters can be simple but really effective also the use of features on a film poster such as stock characters, tag line, credits also the protagonist and the layouts of an film poster, These all make it show that it is a film poster and the use of images and tag line could show/ give you an idea of what the film could be about.
what I have learnt about secondary research is that the work you find on the internet or in book can be really useful for what you need to find out.
