LETTER PRESS PRINTING

(Design and Print Poster)

1.     Wood and led is used type up posters,

2.     Place card/paper in the bed press,

3.     INK up the press,

4.     Roll each poster in one at a time,

5.     (doing letterpress print from Beginning to end takes about week),

6.     Register each poster with grippers (this keeps the card/ paper lined up)

7.     The middle slender applies the pressure on to the paper,

8.     The bottom roller keeps the INK going

The main purpose is for advertising  also  There is different type of wood blocks, carving can also be used when letter printing. The letter printers are similar but they are all unique.

Screen Printing

                          SCREEN PRINTING 

• Firstly pick an image, an image that is simple and easy (simple to cut out)
• Secondly tape image down to cutting surface and then over  lay clear film on top and tape down into place.
• Then simply cut out image with knife.
• Mounter on back of screen frame, use tape to mount it around in place. 
• you want want to use the right INK e.g. speed bell fabric ink 
• Take screen and place it where ever you would want it on the T-shirt.
• Apply plenty of INK on one half of the screen.
• Then using the squeegee and pushing the Ink, about three times 
• Finally leave T-shirt to dry.
